how it started

I spent years deep in the music industry, traveling, hosting events, and living on the road with my band. When we hired someone to document a tour and it didn't work out, I grabbed the camera myself. that was the beginning of everything.

I started shooting behind the scenes for a creative editorial shoot. one thing led to the next. soon i was directing music videos across north america, building a visual language from stages, studios, and late nights.

After 10+ years of shooting and being fluent in the energy of live events, weddings came naturally. I already knew how to read a room, anticipate a moment, and disappear into the chaos without missing a thing.

That background is why my work doesn't look like typical wedding photography. it's got the rhythm of a concert, the intimacy of a backstage moment, and the intention of someone who chose this craft. I love what I do, and its all part of a never ending evolution.

The duo

My wife Danika Lee brings a whole other element to every shoot. She's a photographer, content creator, and the founder of AKUA Swim, a luxury fashion brand she built from scratch. her attention to detail is beyond anyone i've ever met. the angles, the styling, the tiny moments that most people walk right past, she sees all of it.

What is your payment schedule and cancellation policy?

A 50% deposit to hold the date, and the remainder 1 week prior to the wedding date.

What do you need from us on the day of the wedding?

A point of contact to answer any questions and a designated wrangler to assist with formal family photos if applicable.

Do you offer engagement photo or pre-wedding video sessions?

Yes! Please inquire if you would like any additional coverage. It’s a great way to meet before the big day!

Do you provide editing and post-production services?

Yes!

Do you shoot alone or work with a second photographer/videographer?

I almost always shoot with an assistant or 2nd shooter. Key moments happen quickly and we want to ensure the smoothest day for everyone.

Can we customize a package to fit our needs?

Absolutely! All of my packages are customized for each couple.

Do you offer both photography and videography services together?

Yes! We can chat about what the priority for you is, and subcontract another amazing shooter to capture the day with me if required.

How far in advance should we book you?

Typically, I recommend at least a year in advance for best chances on date availability.

Do you travel for weddings? Are there additional travel fees?

I travel a lot, and can discuss travel costs to accommodate for each particular wedding.

What’s included in your wedding photography or videography packages?

Wedding photo + video packages can vary depending on the decided creative direction, but can assure a documentary / editorial style approach that will allow you to fully experience your wedding day, and relive it every day afterwards.
